KFU is going to cooperate with Rostec

On September, 9 KFU Rector Ilshat Gafurov and heads of the University subdivisions had meeting with working group from Rostec that came to realize agreements on cooperation.

Head of Office for Strategic and Innovative Development, Alexander Kashirin, Deputy Head of Service for Technical Regulation and Modernization, Larisa Kirpichnikov visited our University.

Alexander Kashirin explained that currently Rostec organizations concluded agreements for cooperation with 214 institutions that would train target specialists, expand cooperation in the framework of thematic (scientific and technological) directions and conduct joint research (R&D) works. 258 basic departments have been already established to implement 382 university programs.

Ilshat Gafurov told about our University and priority scientific domains.

During the meeting the sides discussed further steps for cooperation development.

For information: Rostec, formerly Rostekhnologii is a Russian state corporation (a non-profit entity type) established in late 2007 to promote development, production and export of hi-tech industrial products for civil and defense sectors. It brings together 663 entities which form 13 holding companies. Eight holding companies operate in the defense-industry complex and five three of them are involved in civil sectors.Rostec’s organizations are located in 60 constituents of the Russian Federation and supply goods to over 70 countries worldwide.

Rostekhnologii was founded in 2007 as so called "state corporation", a very special type of legal entity in Russia. The state corporation is established by equity contribution made by the Russian Federation. The organization is headed by Sergey Chemezov. Its headquarters are located in Moscow.
