International conference Phraseology in polycultural society is organised in the Institute of Philology and Arts. It will be held from September, 19 – 22.

Participants of the conference are members of the association “Europhras” from 17 countries: New Zealand, Italy, Spain, USA, Brazil, Germany, Austria and others. Reports delivered in Russian, English, German, Spanish and French languages describe phraseological problems of more than 100 languages.

Kazan Federal University was chosen as the conference venue because here work very active members of this association and phraseological school of Kazan Federal University essentially contributed to the development of theoretical and practical phraseology and phraseography.

Solemn opening ceremony was held on August, 19 at 1 p.m. in the assembly hall of the 33rd facility.
