The third annual Russian-Chinese student conference "Heritage of Great Teachers" was held at Elabuga Institute of KFU. The event brought together 61 participants from leading universities in Russia, China and Kyrgyzstan, including Moscow State Linguistic University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Northwest Normal University (PRC) and Kyrgyz National University.
An interesting report in Chinese was presented by Wang Tian, a 3rd year master's student at Northwestern Normal University of the PRC. The theme of her speech was devoted to the role and strategies for the development of international education in the field of the Chinese language in shaping the national image.
Also at the plenary session, reports were made by a 4th year student of the Higher School of Pedagogy and Philology of Elabuga Institute of KFU Daria Kormiltseva with the topic "Functioning of Anglicisms in Chinese and Russian" and a student of Jiaxing University of China Xu Jiali with the topic "Aesthetic interaction and innovative practices of Chinese and Russian paper carving from the point of view of transferring intangible cultural heritage".
After the plenary session, the conference continued in breakout sessions.
The event reaffirmed its status as an important platform for dialogue between young scientists of the two countries, contributing not only to academic exchange, but also to the strengthening of friendly ties between Russia and China.
