The annual traditional summit of republican oil company directors was held on the 22nd of July with the participation of the President of the RT, Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov.
The President of the RT, Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Council of State of the RT, Mr. Farid Mukhametshin, ministers and heads of state agencies of the RT, director and specialists of Tatneft, JSC headed by the Director General of Tatneft, JSC, Mr. Shafagat Takhautdinov, as well as the Vice-President – Director of Transport, Accounting and Quality Department of AK Transneft, JSC, Mr. Igor Katsal, heads of petrochemical plants, oil refineries and independent oil companies of the Republic, heads of territorial directorates of federal agencies, along with members of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the RF, deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the RF, city and district executives of the oil region of the RT, executive officials of the Administration of the President of the RT and the RT Government took part in the oil forum. KFU was represented by the Rector, Mr. Ilshat Gafurov, and Vice-Rector for Research, Mr. Danis Nurgaliev.
Prior to the event opening its participants visited an advanced technologies exhibition organized with the involvement of Tatneft, JSC, RITEK, JSC, GK Argosi and Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University in collaboration with TNG-Group.
The expansive Tatneft company’s exposition presented technical and economic indices of the company’s activity, results of implementation of the program for cost-effective use of resources and energy, program for ultraviscous oil production development at Ashalchinskoye oil field, new developments in the sphere of oil well construction using TAM water-swellable packers, dual-pumping well operation technologies, enhanced oil recovery methods, methods of associated petroleum gas recovery accompanied by electrical energy generation and others.
The following exhibits were displayed by the Company: core and ultra-viscous oil samples, products manufactured by TANEKO, JSC, equipment for stuck drilling tool releasing, light end recovery unit, extra hermetic pipes (corrosion-resistant make) etc.
Results of the activity carried out by Tatneft, JSC were presented to the audience by the First Deputy Director General of Tatneft, JSC for Production, chief engineer, Mr. Nail Ibragimov. In the first half of 2013 the company successfully completed its production program and arranged advanced equipment and technology introduction. Tatneft, JSC remains the republican leader of high added value production, the share of which in the republican volume makes 31 percent.
Once again the Tatarstan summit has become an efficient ground for exchanging experience in high performance technologies introduction and discussing current problems and further prospects of oil production development in the Republic. The participants got acquainted with promising spheres of cooperation between the All-Russian scientific research geological petroleum institute and small-scale oil companies of Tatarstan and discussed urgent issues of high-performance oil production technologies application by republican oil companies.
