The Director of Elabuga Institute of KFU attended the Third Asian-European Forum on Pedagogical Education

The visit to China aimed to expand international cooperation.

The III Asian-European Forum on Pedagogical Education took place at the Northwest Normal University in Lanzhou, China. The forum was dedicated to the theme "Teachers Using Artificial Intelligence: Changing the Future of Education". Director of Elabuga Institute of Kazan Federal University and Associate Professor of the Department of English Philology and Intercultural Communication Marina Achaeva took part in its work.

The event brought together representatives from 14 Asian and European countries, including China, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Singapore, Egypt, Australia, and Malaysia.

Marat Umarov made a report at the plenary session, highlighting:

"In the context of modern geopolitical changes and strengthening international relations, cooperation in in the field of higher education is gaining particular relevance. It is important for us to strengthen humanitarian ties and mutual understanding, as pedagogical education primarily involves the formation of values, worldview, and the development of intercultural competence. Developing joint strategies for teacher training contributes to a deeper understanding of each other's cultures, traditions and mentality".

Within the framework of the forum, the Pedagogical Education Alliance "One Belt, One Road" was established to create a new platform for cooperation between Asian and European universities.

A significant part of the visit included negotiations with the leadership of Northwest Normal University. The multilateral meeting was also attended by representatives of Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

The visit of the Director of Elabuga Institute of Kazan University to China laid a strong foundation for long-term cooperation with leading Asian universities and opened new opportunities for international academic integration.
