July 7 – A friendly football match between the team of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation headed by the Minister Dmitry Livanov and the team of students “Kazan-2013”.
The idea to hold a match came from the Minister, who also selected football as the most “democratic” kind of sport. The game turned out to be intense however the atmosphere between the teams remained friendly. Although the team “Kazan-2013” was leading the score after the first period, the Minister’s team got ahead in the second period and won 6:5.
After the game the best players received prizes and Deputy Minister Andrei Pominov noted the high level of the exiting amateur game.
