Guests from Singapore visited KFU

Today, on the 22nd of June, a numerous delegation from the Republic of Singapore headed by the Deputy Minister, Minister of Finance, Mr. Tarman Shanmugaratnam, visited Kazan Federal University.

After getting acquainted with the exposition of the Museum of History of Kazan University the guests accompanied by the Vice-rector of KFU for International Relations, Mr. Linar Latypov, were invited to Lobachevskiy Scientific Library, where the courses of the joint program for master teacher training, offered by the Ministry of Education and Science of the RT and the Singapore company Educare, have been conducted for several days already.

The guests were told about the form of training and its aspects focused on. “Here we go deep into learning structures which permit to use one’s aesthetic thinking and solve real tasks. We help teachers to become more active and more corresponding to needs of the XXI century”, explained a teacher from Singapore.

Mr. Tarman Shanmugaratnam, was satisfied with his visit to KFU and meeting with compatriot teachers. “I am happy that we, Singapore citizens, can participate in a journey to education which you are taking. I am sure that Singapore people can learn a lot from you during this enthralling and interesting joint work. Education is such a sphere where one won’t be able to find an ideal teaching method, even if he seeks for it all over the world, that is why here we are speaking about continuous experiment and perfection. I wish you success!” he encouraged the course attendees.
