On May, 28 round table “E-learning technologies at KFU: problems and solutions”.

The first question discussed at the meeting was devoted to the reorganization of publishing activity in KFU: switch from printed form of publication to electronic one. This question was raised by the Director of the Nikolai Lobachevskiy Scientific Library, Evgeniy Strukov, on the rectorate meeting on May, 22. There was proposed to publish lectures summaries delivered by university faculty members.

Director of Educational Resources Development Office, Galina Ivshina, reported that up to September,1 it is necessary to fill the electronic library with lectures summaries of all disciplines.  As a pilot project was proposed to prepare brief lectures for 1-year students.

Olga Timofeeva informed all participants about the existing in KFU methods for faculty members and students motivation to the applying e-learning technologies, including e-learning courses. Specific attention was paid to the quality of electronic educational resources. There was distinguished the major role of the department in the process of creating and inspecting electronic educational resources.

Ramil Vagipov demonstrated technologies of virtual educational worlds on the example of vAcademia.

Viktoriya Ustyugova explained requirements to structure and content of e-learning courses implemented in LMS MOODLE.

In the end of the seminar Olga Kasina explained the participants procedure for conducting the technologic and methodic inspecting of e-learning courses on departments. This procedure was tested on concrete examples.

On May, 30 the same “round table” will be held with participation of members of humanitarian specialties.
