Scientists, employees of universities, research institutes, nature reserves, and national parks gathered at Еlabuga Institute of KFU.
The international scientific and practical conference “Protection of the natural environment, rational use of natural resources and environmental and biological education” included the work of three sections. Among them are “Monitoring the state of populations of rare animals and plants, natural and artificial ecological systems, territories and landscapes”, “Current problems of ecology and environmental protection”, “Current problems of ecological and biological worldview, education and upbringing in educational institutions”. The conference participants from nature reserves, national parks, research institutes, higher educational institutions and other organizations worked in full-time, online and correspondence formats.
The topics of the reports concerned mainly the dynamics of monitoring and ways of preserving rare groups of plants and animals in the regions and the problems of environmental education.
