A student of Elabuga Institute participates in the forum of foreign students

The forum "Russia made friends with us" united 80 foreign students from 48 countries and 30 Russian universities on one platform of the ethnographic park-museum "ETNOMIR".

Workshops from professional speakers, open microphones with representatives of major international organisations, diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Russia and governmental authorities contributed to the design of individual professional orientation of international students in Russia, as well as to the strengthening of educational, scientific and cultural cooperation between educational organisations of higher education in Russia.

Professional design of individual educational trajectory of foreign students in Russian Federation is one of the top aspects within the framework of formation and improvement of educational policy in relation to foreign citizens studying on educational programmes of Russian universities.

The forum itself took place from 16th to 22th July. The forum gathered the most active foreign students from all Russian cities. During these days there were seminars, master classes, round table discussions and much more, but in addition to the informative part there was also an entertainment part organised.

"I enjoyed everything incredibly. All the guys, both participants and organisers, were very friendly, open.

It was possible to have a friendly conversation with everyone, even though there was a difference in mentality. These days were the most unforgettable, very intense, after which a pleasant fatigue remained. For such a short period of time I got acquainted and made friends with more than 80 new, absolutely different, but very interesting people. And most importantly, thanks to the educational part of the programme, I learned a lot, which would help me, as well as all participants of the forum, to develop in the future", - Angelina Besova, a student of Elabuga Institute, shared her impressions.

All the guys, their attendance, activity, responsiveness and most importantly - initiative allowed to create that unique mood, which is inherent to AIS.
