"They will talk about achievements in the field of climate change, conservation of the ocean, working experience in Europe and in the Republic of Tatarstan (we are talking about designating the UNESCO's status to a cultural and historical complex Sviyazhsk). Tatarstan as one of the most advanced Russian regions is ready to meet the International Congress on Conservation of Biodiversity in 2015 ", - Mr. Kamalov informed.

Kalev Sepp also mentioned that the main aim of his visit to Tatarstan is discussion of the Congress’ organizational issues.  "The world faces many challenges, the most serious of which are climate change, ocean pollution and reduction of biodiversity", Mr. Sepp stated. He thinks that the possible way to avoid an environmental disaster is to have countries working together towards cleaning of the production. We need scientific knowledge because new technologies result in appearance of new issues.
