During the meeting, issues of cooperation were discussed

As part of a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the Elabuga Institute of KFU Elena Merzon met with the leadership of the Kazakh National University named after Abay.  KazNPU was represented by Vice-Rector for Strategy, Digitalization and Internationalization Aktolkyn Kulsariyeva, Vice-Rector for Research Yermek Buribaev, Director of the Department for Academic Affairs Khairulla Zhanbekov, Director of the Department for Designing Educational Programs Adilya Baidildina, Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Galia Abayeva, Director of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Alua  Tanzharykova and Director of the International Cooperation Department Zhadyra Bainazar.

The main direction of Abai University, as well as the Yelabuga Institute of KFU, is pedagogical education.  The training of teachers and the exchange of experience in improving the approaches to education and training have become the main focus of the dialogue between the leaders of universities.  During the discussion, joint educational programs in the Russian language and literature aroused particular interest.

Elena Efimovna and colleagues from Kazakhstan also exchanged plans for scientific and technical events planned for the 2023 academic year.  The leaders of the two universities have planned joint work in this direction.
