Opening pedagogical classes was discussed at Elabuga Institute of KFU

Elena Merzon, Director of EI KFU, and Elena Terentyeva, Head of the Education Department of the Executive Committee of EMR, discussed models for organizing classes.

From September 1, classes of a pedagogical profile will open in four educational organizations of Elabuga municipal district. A similar practice existed in the 1990s and even in the early 2000s, and today teacher classes are being revived in the Republic of Tatarstan at the initiative of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

Elabuga Institute of KFU will provide the educational process for teaching classes in Elabuga municipal district.

Now the first stage of preparatory work is underway, at which Elena Merzon, Director of EI KFU, and Elena Terentyeva, Head of the Education Department of the Executive Committee of EMR, are discussing a model for organizing the activities of classes with a pedagogical focus, and preparing a roadmap of the project.

The educational and methodological plan of the pedagogical classes will be presented as part of the August conference.

“From September 1, psychological and pedagogical classes will open in four educational organizations of Elabuga municipal district. Today we are discussing this issue with Elena Efimovna. School students will be able to get the basics of the teaching profession in such classes,” Elena Terentyeva, Head of the Education Department of EMR, shared in an interview.

Such classes are meant to become one of the main mechanisms for a conscious choice of the profession of a teacher, and graduates of pedagogical classes will become the main applicants for employer-sponsored education in the profile.
