Applicants and their parents got acquainted with the joint program of dual education of the College of Kazan Federal University in Elabuga and the Special Economic Zone “Alabuga”.

The applicants who have chosen training programs related to primary and preschool education can become not only students of the College of Elabuga Institute, but also part of the multinational team of “Alabuga International School”.

Director of Elabuga Institute of KFU Elena Merzon and head of the international school “Alabuga International School” Elvira Fomina told the applicants and their parents about the joint program, which starts this year.

The main advantage for students of the dual program will be the opportunity to start a career from the 1st year of study at “Alabuga International School” according to the certified international educational programs of the school with enhanced study of the English language. This means that at graduation, the college students will have 4 years of work experience, and unique knowledge and skills of working in an international team.

The beginning of a career also implies a paid internship with official employment. Students are expected to solve real project tasks, paid in proportion to achievements, as well as to gain leadership qualities that will help future teachers develop also as effective managers in education.

Depending on the student’s performance indicators, the dual program managers presented possible ways to develop the student’s career track. The student starts working as an intern, then a year later he moves to the position of an assistant class teacher (Team Teacher), and upon achieving results in studies and in practice, he can choose the direction of development: follow the leadership positions and become a coordinator of international educational programs or continue working as a teacher.
