The event took place at the House of Scientific Collaboration at Elabuga Institute of KFU

Today, January 15, within the walls of the House of Scientific Collaboration named after K.A. Valiev at Elabuga Institute of KFU, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Best Practices of General and Additional Education in Natural Sciences and Technical Disciplines" dedicated to the memory of Kamil Akhmetovich was held.

For the second time the conference is held on the birthday of a graduate of Kazan University, popularizer and organizer of science, founder of domestic microelectronics, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kamil Akhmetovich Valiev. It is his name that bears the House of Scientific Collaboration at Elabuga Institute of KFU. The All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Best Practices of General and Additional Education in Natural Sciences and Technical Disciplines" is a meeting place for scientists and teachers interested in the development of fundamental sciences and modern technologies, which is confirmed by problematics of the event:

“Perspective Models for the Development of Additional Education for Children and Mechanisms for their Implementation”;

"Effective educational technologies and their educational potential in the project activities of students";

"Key centers for the development of children and youth in the implementation of project activitiy of schoolchildren."

“The conference is held at the House of Scientific Collaboration, which was opened in 2020 as part of the federal project “Success of every child” of the national project “Education” on the initiative of the Rector of KFU, Professor Ilshat Rafkatovich Gafurov. By the unanimous decision of the Academic Council of Kazan Federal University, the house was named after our fellow countryman, a graduate of Kazan University, scientist, founder of domestic microelectronics Kamil Akhmetovich Valiev,” Elena Merzon, Director of Elabuga Institute of KFU, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech. She wished the participants fruitful work and gave the floor to Vice-Rector for Research, Acting Rector of KFU Dmitry Tayursky:

“Additional education today is the core of those educational programs that need and can be implemented in order to prepare competitive, in-demand and, most importantly, successful specialists in the market of modern professions. Much attention is paid to this at Kazan Federal University: the Children's University project, the Small University center for gifted schoolchildren, various additional training programs, and active work with the “University of talents”. House of Scientific Collaboration named after K.A. Valiev, where the conference is being held today, is a magnet, a center of attraction for all talented schoolchildren and teachers,” Dmitry Albertovich noted.

The vast majority of the reports submitted for full-time and online participation are devoted to the best practices of general and additional education in the natural sciences and technical disciplines. The materials of the conference participants serve as the basis for the exchange of information, experience, ideas of both scientists recognized by the pedagogical community and young researchers. The presented theoretical and practical materials, which will be published in the collection of scientific papers, will serve as an impetus for young scientists, practicing teachers to further deepen their scientific and creative search.
