WEBINAR "SCHOOL MISSION" OPENED A SERIES OF INTERNATIONAL WEBINARS!

On December 15, 2020 the first of a series of international webinars for students of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan Federal University and Partap College of Education (India) was held.

The aims of the Webinar were:

- to develop a greater understanding of each other’s educational systems,

- to develop a more internationalized perspective on teaching and learning processes

The following issues were offered for discussion:

 

The Webinar started with a welcoming speech of the Deputy Director of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan Federal University Iskander Yarmakeev who said:

“I am glad to welcome you on behalf of the Director of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan Federal University – Professor Radif Zamaletdinov and our academic community.

This webinar is one of the international joint projects of Partap College of Education (India) and the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan Federal University (Russia), and can be regarded as evidence of fruitful cooperation between our two institutions.”

The live webinar provided interactivity and a great opportunity to discuss, send and receive information on the relevant topic in real-time for the students of both Institutions, who are trained to become school or college teachers.

Balwant Singh, Director of Partap College of Education in his concluding speech outlined the idea that projects of this type offer a unique opportunity to the younger generation to enter the culture of different countries and develop international views on educational processes:

“I am sure that the participants of today’s webinar have received great experience and additional knowledge about Russian and Indian schools. I hope that this project marks the beginning of a long-term and fruitful international cooperation between our academic communities.”
