On September 28, Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) a Doctor of Science of Volgograd State Technical University (VSTU), a Head of the Higher Mathematics Department Alexander Gorobtsov visited KFU. A. Gorobtsov is engaged in developments in the field of dynamics of coupled systems of solid and elastic bodies, stochastic dynamics of machine structures and mechanisms, nonlinear vibrations of multidimensional dynamic systems, methods of the synthesis of robotic systems’ spatial controlled motion. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the scientific and educational capability of the LIRS.

Professor Evgeni Magid told the guest about the laboratory’s activity and the master's program "Intelligent robotics", which was successfully launched at the Higher Institute of ITIS in September 2017. The master's program "Intelligent robotics" is a robotics program of international level. Every year it’s being updated and modernized because of global trends and employers ' requests. Moreover, the presentations of projects that the LIRS employees and students are working on were presented to the guest.

А. Gorobtsov highly appreciated the potential of the Higher Institute of ITIS in the field of robotics and expressed interest in cooperation in the field of science.
