The presentation of the Czech language study program was held at the Elabuga Institute KFU

The classes for students from schools and universities and citizens are taught by native speakers from the Western Czech University.

For the first time the university launched the program “Czech language and culture of the Czech Republic”. At the Grand opening ceremony Ildaniya Nizambieva, the head of the Center for professional development and Continuing Education, told students about the course of study. Classes started on October 12 and will end on February 8.Twice a week, on Monday and Thursday evening, there will be meetings on the Google Meet platform. The program includes not only the development of grammar and colloquial speech, but also acquaintance with the history, culture, traditions of the country.

The opening was joined by the head of the Russian language Department of the Western Czech University, Mihaela Peshkova, who visited the Elabuga Institute KFU as a speaker of the International Festival of School Teachers. The teacher will act as the main expert of the program, in addition, her students, native speakers, will remotely join to the verification of assignments and work on colloquial speech. It should be reminded, that the Elabuga Institute KFU and the West Czech University have established close cooperation. Within its framework since 2017, groups of teachers and students have been undergoing internships, participating in educational programs and scientific conferences of partner universities.
