Kazan Federal University obtains the highest 5+ ranking from QS Stars

The overall score of the University reached 916 out of 1,000.

As of this moment, 13 Russian universities have been assessed by QS Stars, and KFU is the first to receive the highest ranking of “five plus.”

The University was ranked in 8 categories – Teaching, Employability, Academic Development, Internationalization, Facilities, Innovation, Social Responsibility, and Specialist Criteria (Russian as a Foreign Language program). It scored 5 points in each of them.

In particular, KFU scored:

148/150 in Teaching (student-to-faculty ratio, student satisfaction, number of PhDs, and number of continuing students);

150/150 in Employability (alumni employment and employment services);

122/150 in Internationalization (international employees, international exchange, international students, services for international students, and international collaborations);

149/150 in Academic Development (advanced training for educators, teaching practice, services for educator development, and participation in university networks);

84/100 in Facilities (libraries, sports facilities, dorms, medical care, and student clubs);

50/50 in Innovation (patens, technoparks, and research);

48/50 in Social Responsibility (scholarships, accessibility, etc.);

and 168/200 in Specialist Criteria for the program of Russian as a Foreign Language (assessed through student satisfaction, employability of alumni, international accreditations, etc.).
