The synthesis of silver nanoparticles was carried out for the first time and a new nanocomposite was obtained using halloysite nanotubes and ultrasound. Transmission electron microscopy showed the presence of silver nanoparticles on the surface and inside the halloysite nanotubes, and the mapping of the sample showed a uniform distribution of silver nanoparticles within the nanocomposite. It was established that the obtained nanocomposite has antibacterial activity against bacteria Serratia marcescens. The ability to inhibit the formation of biofilms of S. marcescens has been shown. The resulting nanocomposite can be further used as an additive to various materials or as a coating to combat bacterial contamination of various surfaces and materials.
