Students of the Elabuga Institute of KFU are active participants of labor brigades.

In the context of measures to prevent coronavirus foreign students of the University received an additional opportunity to improve their financial situation

The organization of special work teams at the Institute is an additional option for supporting students who have fallen into a difficult life situation due to the spread of coronavirus infection. The children carry out their work in their free time from distance learning, thus fruitfully and usefully spending their leisure time.

The University has created several labor teams, which include more than 20 foreign students living in dormitories. The guys involved in the construction team are helping to carry out repairs, which are currently actively continuing at the Institute. Another labor group is engaged in cleaning the premises in the buildings of the University, and a third team of female students takes part in the sewing of masks. In total, the hands of activists sewn more than 2 thousand medical devices to order. Students receive financial support through sponsorship.

As the students themselves note, they are certainly happy to work part-time in their free time. For children, this is not just an opportunity to earn extra money, but also an opportunity to benefit their Alma mater.

"I am glad that the Institute has given us the opportunity to work in our free time. This is much better than just sitting in a room. I feel my involvement in the General life of our educational institution. Your energy needs to be directed in the right direction. I and my friends are involved in cleaning the classrooms, the work is quite simple, on the contrary, interesting. Together with the children, we have a great time working, " said Aigul Abdullayeva, a student of the faculty of Philology and history.

It should be noted that the rector Ilshat Rafkatovich Gafurov pays special attention to the need for employment of students, the campaign for temporary employment of nonresident children is implemented throughout the Kazan Federal University. The organization of labor brigades of the Yelabuga Institute will also be carried out during the summer vacation period. Employment of children is planned in the construction, agricultural, cleaning, and on-farm industries
