INDIA-RUSSIA: THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "CROSS-BORDER AND MULTICULTURAL PERSPECTIVES IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS"

On February 22-23, 2020 there was realized the joint project of Partap College of Education (India) and the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication (Russia): the International conference "Cross-border and Multicultural Perspectives in Professional Development of Teachers". The Conference was organized and held under the patronage of IPDA (International Professional Development Association) in Ludhiana, India.

Our Institute was represented by Drs. Svetlana Karkina and Tatiana Pimenova who made a significant contribution to the successful work of the Conference. They offered a series of topics for discussion at the Conference and workshops for the students and faculty of Partap College of Education. Tatiana Pimenova discussed various projects with the College students and faculty and gave academic extension lectures.

The theme of the Conference covered important research problems that are under the focus of the researchers of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, which suggests that scientific interests of both institutions are intersected.

This Conference marks a successful beginning of future collaboration of Partap College of Education and the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication which, for sure, will enhance the growth and development of our institutions.
