Kanazawa University students do an internship at the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems

On 17th September 2019, master's degree students from the Kanazawa University arrived in Kazan for a two-week internship to practice at the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information technologies and intelligent systems (KFU). Three students, Masanari Tennomi (Mechanical Science and Engineering Division, Environment and Human Related Mechanical System Course), Kenta Tabata (Mechanical Science and Engineering Division, Mechanical Systems Engineering Course) and Hiroki Yokota (Mechanical Science and Engineering Division, Environment and Human Related Mechanical System Course) will master the ROS operating system and course materials under the guidance of laboratory research assistant Ramil Safin and research associate Artur Sagitov. At the end of the work at the Laboratory students will have to submit the results obtained during the internship in the form of presentation.

Today, on 17th September, Japanese students presented to the employees of the LIRS their current projects:

During the first week of the internship students will be working at the LIRS on the territory of the Higher Institute of ITIS. During the second week, they are planning to practice at the Ford Sollers in Elabuga, Russian Federation. Ford Sollers is a joint venture established in 2011 between American automaker Ford and Russian Sollers. The Ford Sollers joint venture is responsible for the production, import and distribution of all Ford brand products, including automobiles, spare parts and accessories in Russia.
