KFU astrophysicist: We turned the 'Magnificent Seven' neutron stars into the 'Magnificent Eight.'

Valery Suleymanov, senior research fellow at the X-ray Astronomy Research Institute of Kazan Federal University, together with the International Group of Researchers at the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Tübingen (Germany), found similarities X-ray radiation of a radio pulsar PSR J0726-2612 with thermal radiation from a number of nearby single neutron stars, remote at a distance of 200 to 500 parsecs from the Earth, the so-called Vai "The Magnificent Seven."
