Head of the Department of medical physics, Professor Of the Institute of physics of Kazan Federal University Albert Aganov was awarded the gold medal of Yerevan state University “For his great contribution to the development of physics of the Yerevan state University and in connection with the 100th anniversary of the founding of Yerevan state University".

Albert Vartanovich has done a lot for the development of cooperation between Kazan and Yerevan universities. He initiated the signing of a cooperation agreement between universities.

A. Aganov has many awards and titles. He is the winner of the Ian Kamensky Gold medal, honored worker of science of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, laureate of the state prize in science and technology (2009), honorary Professor of the International University of innovative technologies (Kyrgyz Republic).
