The journal "Fanni Tatarstan" ("Scientific Tatarstan") is published within the framework of the State Program of the RT on preservation, study and development of the state languages of the RT and other languages in the RT for 2014–2020.

The scientific journal was established by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to provide the Tatar public with information on the results of promising research works in the humanities and natural sciences.
