KFU Professor was given an award from the International Janusz Korczak Association

On the third day of the Forum educators from 140 Russian and 75 overseas universities took part in the International Research-to-Practice Conference entitled “The ideas of Janusz Korczak in preparing future teachers”.

President of the International Korczak Association, the former Commissioner for Children’s Rights in Poland Marek Michalak has awarded a commemorative token to the Deputy Director for International Activity, head of the Pedagogy Department, Honored Science Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan Roza Valeeva.

“Korczak’s ideas have become a beacon for you. You are the founder of Humanistic Paradigm of Upbringing and Education scientific school. Your name is among the pioneers of a humanistic approach in the Russian and foreign pedagogy. On behalf of the International Korczak Association I am giving you this commemorative token for your respect for children and recognition of inherent value of a child’s life, which are the most important tenets of humanistic pedagogy of Janusz Korczak whose contribution is enormous”.
