On the 21 of May scientists of the Institute of Philology and intercultural communication of KFU and foreign undergraduates of the Department of Russian as a foreign language took part in the VI International youth scientific and practical conference "Culture and science: a new outlook". The conference was organized by the Department of education of the Executive Committee of Sabinsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Institute of philology and intercultural communication of KFU. This conference was held on the basis of a secondary boarding school with in-depth study of individual subjects for gifted children of Sabinsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The purpose of the conference is to enhance research activities, identify and support gifted students, support creativity and development of intellectual initiative of students of educational institutions. This year for the correspondence tour we received 386 works from different districts of the Republic of Tatarstan: Baltasinsky, Arsky, Alekseevsky, Spassky, Mamadysh, Kukmor, Tyulyachinsky, Aznakaevo, Sarmanovsky, Leninogorsk, as well as from the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan. For the face-to-face tour 177 reports were selected. The conference included the work of 18 sections in different categories: "The world"; "Local history"; "Mathematics"; "Linguistics" (Russian language, Tatar language, foreign languages); "Chemistry, biology"; "Physics", "Computer technology"; "History and society"; "Art" (arts and crafts, architecture, painting, sculpture, music); "Technology".
The ceremony was opened by the head of the Sabinsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan Minnikhanov Rais Nurgalievich. Dr. of Philology, professor, dean of the Higher school of Russian language and intercultural communication by I.A. Baudouin de Courtenay in KFU Bochina T. G. and students from Vietnam, Jordan, Iran, China, Sri Lanka wished a successful and productive work to pupils. Also, during the conference, master classes and seminars for teachers were organized.
