In late July 2018, Rector of BUU Li Xuewei and his colleagues arrived to sign a cooperation agreement and negotiate academic exchange.

A few days ago, 36 students from the Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences, Institute of Biochemical Engineering, Smart City Institute, and Robotics Institute arrived to Kazan for a semester internship at English-language programs. Four academics from those institutes followed the students to assist and guide them in their trip. Concurrently, Kazan Federal University will send two professors to Beijing Union Universityl for academic exchange activities.
