KFU rector Ilshat Rafkatovich Gafurov, pro-rector for educational activities Dmitry Albertovich Tayursky, pro-rector for economic and strategic development Marat Rashitovich Safiullin, director of the Institute of Psychology and Education Aidar Minimansurovich Kalimullin, deputy head of the Elabuga municipal district Zulfiya Khafizovna Sungatullina took part in the discussion.
Elena Merzon summed up the results of the work over the past three years and defined the tasks until 2020. One of the achievements of the Institute is the 10th place in the ranking of Russian universities in 2017 by the high quality of admissions for the direction of training “Teacher Education”. All vocational guidance work of the institute in 2018 was aimed at consolidation of this result.
KFU rector Ilshat Gafurov gave a positive assessment of the main directions of the institute's development, highlighting the significant growth of indicators; the institute was given a recommendation to carry out fundamental and applied research in the field of modern education in collaboration with foreign scientists; he emphasized that the status of KFU allows developing its own educational standards and approbate new educational ideas.
