July 10, 2018 in Leo Tolstoy Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of KFU a meeting with the Head of the Office of the English Language at the US Embassy in Tallinn Kelly Odhuu was held. During the meeting the sides discussed prospects for joint projects, further cooperation, and also talked about the arrival of American colleagues: Dr. Danielle McNamara and Dr. Elizabeth Driver. In August, Danielle McNamara plans to hold a seminar with the staff of the research laboratory which focuses on studies on the complexity of texts in Russian. Elizabeth Driver arrives in Kazan for the 2018-2019 academic year and will work as an English teacher at the Department of Germanic Philology.
