Internal entrance exams started today

The first two subjects were foreign language and chemistry.

As Head of the Admission Commission Oleg Bodrov informed, 1,467 applicants will take exams in Kazan, 365 – at Naberezhnye Chelny campus, and 71 – at Yelabuga campus. The three main categories eligible for such exams are disabled persons, vocational education graduates, and international enrollees.

‘All Russian high school graduates enroll through the Unified State Exam system. However, some categories can be admitted through internal exams. Specifically, vocational graduates can either take USE at their colleges or take exams here at the University, or even combine both ways,” said Dr. Bodrov.

In particular, today, 190 people took foreign language and 158 took chemistry. All three of the abovementioned categories of applicants were present.

The level of internal exams and their structure are very much identical to the Unified State Exam, so that all enrollees would compete fairly for their positions. The last tests in this series will take place on 26th July.
