On March 29, teachers and students from three Austrian gymnasiums visited Leo Tolstoy Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication. Here, the guests were greeted by Deputy Director for International Activities of Leo Tolstoy Institute Gulnara Sadykova, Head of the Department of Germanic Philology Fanuza Tarasova and Associate Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology Zarema Zaripova. After the presentation of the Institute, the discussion of the issues of teacher training, and opportunities for teachers, students and schoolchildren from Austria were informed about the possibility to learn Russian as a foreign language and other programs at KFU summer school. Fifth year students of the Institute and their teachers from the Department of Germanic Philology spoke about the educational system in Russia, the current programs for students and teachers exchange, up-to-date trends in the learning process and students life.
