Winners of the scientific Universiade on foreign languages have been revealed.

Over 150 senior pupils of Tatarstan competed in the knowledge of the English and German languages at Elabuga Institute of KFU.

The annual Inter-regional Scientific Universiade on Foreign Languages among the pupils of the 9-11th grades have taken place within the walls of the university for the seventh time. It is one of the popular forms of vocational guidance work, which allows applicants to get acquainted with the university, the faculty of foreign languages, and to communicate with the university teachers.

More than 250 students from different cities of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the distance round of the Universiade. 144 participants came to the face-to-face round of the Universiade. This round included 2 tasks: listening and oral report on

the proposed topic. The tasks were approximated to the tasks of the USE (Unified State Exams).

At the end of the event the schoolchildren had an opportunity to attend some master classes of the English, Chinese and German languages conducted by the teachers of the faculty of foreign languages. All master classes aroused great interest both of schoolchildren and schoolteachers.
