Delegation of the Consulate General of Iran in Kazan visited Yelabuga Institute of KFU

Alibeman Egbali Zarche met with the leadership of the university and students from Iran, who are taking preparatory courses for admission to universities in Russia.

The delegation included the acting head of the Consulate General of the IR of Iran in Kazan, Alibeman Egbali Zarche, the employee of the consulate Shariatmadari Ehsaen and interpreter Vasily Vdovin.

Director of the Yelabuga Institute KFU Elena Merzon introduced the guests with the history and modern development of alma mater, and international projects. The acting head of the Consulate General promised to assist in attracting new students from Iran to the training programs, establishing links with the leading pedagogical university of the country, inviting Iranian scientists and the best practicing teachers for the International Festival of School Teachers, which is planned in the university in August, 6-8.

The delegation met with the students at the round table. Today, 25 young men and 6 girls from Iran are being trained in the university. The students expressed great gratitude to the teachers of the Faculty of Philology and History, the curators of the group, shared problems and asked exciting questions.

Mr. Egbali said: "I am very glad that I had the opportunity to visit the Yelabuga Institute of the Kazan Federal University and talk with its leadership. According to my impressions, there is a good potential for further cooperation and for the Iranian students to study here. "
