Today the governor of Rostov region, Mr. Vasiliy Golubev, was received in Kazan University in the framework of his visit to Tatarstan.

Being accompanied by the President of KFU, Mr. Myakzyum Salakhov, he got acquainted with the exposition of the Museum of History of Kazan University, visited Lenin’s lecture room and the famous Assembly hall. The guest wrote a memorial entry in the book of Honoured guests: “Visiting Kazan University brings a great pleasure. Here one touches the history of the Russian state and, undoubtedly, takes pride in achievements of eminent graduates, who have glorified Russia. I wish you success, new discoveries and prosperity”.

Communicating with journalists Vasiliy Golubev noted that his interest in Kazan University is aroused not only by its historical past, but also by its best practice and experience accumulated here by today, which can be useful to colleagues from Southern Federal University, located in Rostov-on-Don.
