In October, 2017 the First Russian Microbiological Congress devoted to research on microbial variety, ecology, metabolism and also on microbic biotechnologies was held in Pushchino. Leading Russian microbiologists gave plenary lectures, participants presented their oral and poster reports. Elvira Gaiazova, the employee of our laboratory, has presented our work "Cyborg cells" on delivery of halloysite nanotubes to Caenorhabditis elegans nematodes. The congress as a platform for scientific collaboration has become a great source of information on the current state of science and new methods of research.
