In October 2017 two of our colleagues attended the XXV Anniversary Congress of European
Society of Gene & Cell Therapy in Berlin (Germany), where they got acquainted with the latest
achievements in the field of gene therapy of such serious diseases as muscular dystrophy,
hemophilia, cancer and different neurodegenerative disorders. At the Congress, six works of our
laboratory were presented, devoted to various problems: from the creation of new approaches to
the regeneration of tissues to the study of DNA interaction with different materials. All the
works aroused great interest among other participants of the Congress. Additionally, the
Congress allowed our colleagues to learn about the newest developments in the field of
equipment and materials for cell investigations and vector production.
