Olga Tukchacheva, Marina Tsvetaeva's grand-niece, and Svetlana Romanova, a People's Actress of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, were awarded the VIII Literary Prize (the Marina Tsvetaeva Prize) in Elabuga Institute of KFU.

Forty-six scientists and experts on the poetry of Marina Tsvetaeva from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and other cities met in Elabuga Institute.

Rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov welcomed the participants and guestswith the help of a video message, “In 2002 when we celebrated the 110th anniversary of Marina Tsvetaeva’s birth, the First International Conference devoted to the poetess was held. This event means a lot for the revival of Marina Tsvetaeva’s poetry”. Elena Merzon, Director of Elabuga Institute, pointed out, “We are glad such events are organized in our institute. I’d love future teachers take part in these conferences, listen to Tsvetaeva’s poems, meet people who are studying her poetry

Olga Tukchacheva, Marina Tsvetaeva’s grand-niece, and Svetlana Romanova, a People’s Actress of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, were awarded the VIII Literary Prize (the Marina Tsvetaeva Prize). Olga Tukchacheva supports the museums of Tsvetaeva, presenting them with the family relic.

During the festival the students of the institute had an opportunity to attend lectures of Vyacheslav Golovko, Professor of North-Caucasus Federal Univerity, Lev Mnukhin, Research Fellow of the Tsvetaeva Museum in Bolshev,and Ekaerina Lubyannikova, Research Fellow of the Russian National Library.
