The new academic year started for freshmen with the festive line and the magic quest, and the undergraduates learned the secrets of the profession from employers.

About 900 of yesterday's schoolchildren became students of Elabuga Institute of KFU. In total, about 4,200 students who came from different parts of Russia, as well as from neighbor countries - Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan have started their studies at the university,.

Director of the high school Elena Merzon thanked the teachers for their professionalism and congratulated those who celebrated the jubilees, having handed them letters of thanks. Freshmen gave an oath of KFU students, promising to defend the honor of the university and to use all the knowledge and skills they would receive here in their future profession.

Acquaintance with the Alma Mater took place in the form of the quest of "Hogwarts”. Newly-admitted students were to collect pieces of the symbol of the university, they showed a good knowledge of the history of the university and the city. Having demonstrated talents in singing and dancing, the freshmen yielded in the mastery to "Versus Battle". Freshmen spoke to deans and teachers, learned the schedule and received the main documents for the next 4 years – student cards.

This day was especially memorable for senior students who met with potential employers and representatives of various professions.

The Day of Knowledge at Elabuga Institute of KFU finished in the evening with "Open air" bright performance of the Nab.Chelny popular cover band "SAFARI".
