A plenary session of the I Congress of Teachers of History and Social Studies of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Elabuga Institute of KFU

The I Congress of Teachers of History and Social Studies of the Republic of Tatarstan was opened in UNICS Cultural and Sport Center. It was continued with a plenary session at Elabuga Institute of KFU. Teachers of History and Social Studies from all over Tatarstan were welcomed by the leaders of the republican education system, experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences and representatives of the federal institutes-regulators of the Unified State Exam. The rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov introduced the guests to the university and told about its impact on scientific and educational system in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Various university meeting formats are combined by the striving for develop the most viable model for introducing innovations into schools. For example, in today's program - discussion of changes in the evaluation criteria for a number of tasks of the Unified State Exam, discussion about the need to bringing the contents of the school course of History and Social Science to an unified standard and the place of the regional component - studying the history of the native land - in this unified system.
