Elabuga Institute of KFU has vindicated the Development Roadmap

On June 9 Elabuga Institute of KFU defended its "Roadmap" - a development strategy compiled in accordance with the new requirements for the following 3 years. The document assumes particular steps aimed at promoting the Institute and implementing the general plan of KFU.

The director of the Elabuga Institute of KFU Elena E. Merzon told about the realization this Roadmap. At first she introduced to Elabuga Institute: there are 4283 students and 223 instructors there (70% of them have scientific degrees). Teaching takes place in 45 areas of bachelor's and master's courses. Despite the fact that the pedagogical profile prevails in this department, the institute tries to satisfy the requests of Elabuga and the region enterprises for the training of engineering personnel.

Rector of KFU, Ilshat R. Gafurov, addressed Elena E. Merzon, "I would like to see the concept of development and individual, point-based measures to increase efficiency. It was not said about working with industrial enterprises and with residents of the Free Economic Zone "Alabuga". Elabuga Institute should not be unprofitable. The tasks should be set as if the Institute were a separate one. You are one of Institute of KFU and our general requirements apply to you".
