Traditionally the Final scientific and educational conference of students of KFU was held at Leo Tolstoy Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication in the end of academic year. On the 7th of April 2017 the scientific leaders of Higher Schools together with their students took part in the work of 18 sections. A total of 181 reports were heard and discussed.

Some section winners shared their impressions of the conference.

«I was one of the participants in the session called "Lexis and Phraseology of the modern English language". Participants presented their reports touched on the modern problems in the field of Lexicology. It concerned the use of language in Internet, everyday life, speech of politics, modern literature and how it influences the development of language. Speakers managed to involve guests and other participants into discussion. The reports were scientifically well-grounded and presented actively. I'm satisfied with the form of the conference and wish everyone to take part in.»

«Today I had a great opportunity to take part in the scientific conference. I am very interested in this field of linguistics, that's why I listened to all of the presentations with great pleasure. The topics were really modern. Some students analysed Twitter, other touched upon works of Ayn Rand, John Fowles. The topic of my presentation was "Cognitive-discursive aspect of phraseological units in political discourse", where I studied speeches of V.V. Putin and D.Trump.»

«Einer der Höhepunkte der wissenschaftlichen Arbeit unserer Studierenden ist die jährliche Konferenz, auf der die jungen ForscherInnen die Möglichkeit bekommen, ihre Untersuchungsergebnisse vorzustellen. Auch in diesem Jahr war die Teilnahme rege, und alle Interessenten konnten sich mit den Semesterarbeiten der KommilitonInnen bekannt machen. Das Themenspektrum war breit gefächert. Im Bereich der deutschen Sprache reichte es von Arbeiten zur Phraseologie, zu Besonderheiten der Modalverben, zur Sprache der Reklame, zu Fragen der Benutzung der Konjunktivformen bis hin zu stereotypen Sprachbildern. Als beste wurde die Arbeit von Darja Ivanova (Gruppe 10.1- 410) unter Leitung von Albina F. Muchamadjarova bewertet. Hier ging es um Phraseologismen der deutschen Sprache mit Komponenten der nationalen Küche und der Lebensmittel. Darja Ivanova erhält die Möglichkeit, ihre Forschungsergebnisse in einem Artikel zu veröffentlichen.»
