The Master programme 'Philology: Russian as a Foreign language' passed international external evaluation

The Master programme 45.04.01 “Philology: Russian as a Foreign language” realized on the base of the Higher School of the Russian Language and Intercultural Communication of Philology and Intercultural Communication Institute named after Leo Tolstoy successfully passed international external evaluation on 14-15th, March. The examination was held according to the standards and criteria, established by the National Centre of Professional and Social Accreditation (Russia) in cooperation with Accreditation Agency “Evalag” (Evaluationsagentur Baden Wurttemberg, Germany).         

Evaluation of the Master programs’ cluster in “Philology” and “History” was conducted by Anka Bergman (Berlin, Germany), PhD, Professor of Berlin University named after Humboldt, Chairwoman of Professional Union “The Russian language and polylingualism”; Claudia Napolov-Kaimer (Hannover, Germany), Head of Translation Agency “TriLingVa”; Igor Ryzhov (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia), Doctor of History, Associate Professor of Nizhny Novgorod  National Research Institute n. a. N. I. Lobachevsky; Guzel Gilmutdinova (Kazan, Russia), Supervisor of the “ProfDOM” project (student sector of Professional Committee) in Kazan National Research Technological Institute; Peter Korotkov (Yoshkar-Ola, Russia), Candidate of Economics, Head of Accreditation branch of the National Centre of Professional and Social Accreditation.  

The experts appreciated high level of internationalization of the Master programme, professional competence of the teacher staff, their ability to adapt the teaching materials to different levels of the students and to get involved in updated scientific research. Creative potential alongside determination of our masters was pointed out by the experts as well.
