KFU Will Take Part In Retraining of Teachers From Kazakhstan

The Representatives of Kazan Federal University discussed several cooperation issues in Bishkek.

Members of the delegation: Director of Elabuga Institute of KFU  Elena Merzon, Director of the Departament of External Relations of KFU Andrew Krilov, Deputy Director of Institute of International Affairs of KFU Victor Tumanin, Leading Specialist of the Department of International Affairs of Naberezhney Chelny Institute of KFU Klara Karamova.

The members of the delegation met Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Gulmira Kudayberfieva. The other members of the meeting were Director of Regional Departament of Education of Issyk-Kul Region Kuban Sharipov, Vice-Rector of Karakol State University Kadyrbek Ziyaliev and representative of Issyk-Kul Region Government Aygerim Turgunbaeva.

Gulmira Kudayberfieva stressed the necessity of qualified teachers. According to the Minister young people do not choose to become teachers and as a result there is going to be a lack of teachers in the future.

On behalf of the Rector of KFU Elena Merzon invited Gulmira Kudayberfieva to visit Kazan Federal University. In her speech she noticed that Elabuga Institute was ready to deal with the retraining courses of Kazakhstan school and college teachers. The Institute will be responsible for organizing courses for Russian Language teachers.

During the visit of the KFU representatives in Bishkek there were discussed various issues concerning the conditions for Kazakh applicants to enter KFU.

The representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo were interested in scientific and educational projects of Elabuga Institute such as The International Forum of School Teachers, Summer Teacher Training School, Stakheev and Makhmutov Conferences and others.

The members of the deligation were invited to the meeting with Director of the Agency of Primary and Secondary Professional Education Taaleybek Cholponkulov. The issues discussed at the meeting concerned educational problems in Kazakhstan and their solutions.
