17-18 ноября впервые за три последних года прошла встреча представителей Информационных центров ЕС в Представительстве Европейского Союза в России.

17 ноября встречу представителей Информационных центров ЕС в России открыл Посол ЕС в России Вигаудас Ушацкас. В своей приветственной речи г-н Посол подвел основные итоги нашего многолетнего сотрудничества, а также высказал конкретные предложения по дальнейшей работе с инфоцентрами ЕС.

В этом году исполнилось 25 лет с момента открытия информационных центров ЕС в России. Первые центры были открыты в Москве в Институте Европы РАН, МГУ, ВНИКИ. С 1991 по 2010 гг. было открыто еще 10 инфоцентров в городах России (Санкт-Петербург, Петрозаводск, Казань,Пермь, Екатеринбург, Томск, Ростов-на-Дону, Йошкар-Ола, Калининград). За 25 лет работы информационных центров созданы уникальные библиотеки (например, в Институте Европы РАН, Уральском федеральном университете), проведены сотни семинаров и конференций, вышли в свет уникальные учебные пособия и курсы лекций, переведены на русский язык базовые договоры ЕС. Но с течением времени роль центров и их деятельность все время менялась. В то время как интернет сделал документы ЕС доступными практически каждому, некоторые инфоцентры ЕС пошли по пути консультировании студентов по вопросам получения европейских стипендий.

От Информационного центра ЕС в Казанском федеральном университете во встрече принял участие координатор Центра превосходства Жана Монне в области европейских исследований Voices+, доцент кафедры международного и европейского права, директор НОЦ прав человека, международного права и проблем интеграции Р.Ш.Давлетгильдеев. Он представил информацию о деятельности Информационного центра ЕС в КФУ, а также о работе Центров Voices и Voices+.

On the 17^thof November a meeting of representatives of the Information Centres of the EU in Russia was opened by the EU's Ambassador to Russia Vygaudas Ušackas. In his greeting speech Mr. Ambassador drew general conclusions of our long-term cooperation, and also expressed specific proposals for the further work with the EU's Information Centers.

It has been 25 years since the moment of the EU's Information Centers opening in Russia. The first centers were opened in Moscow in the RAS Institute of Europe, MSU, VNIKI. From 1991 to 2010 ten more Information Centers were opened in cities of Russia (Saint Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Kazan, Perm, Ekaterinburg, Tomsk, Rostov-on-Don, Yoskar-Ola, Kaliningrad). In 25 years the centers' work unique libraries were founded (for example, in the RAS Institute of Europe, Ural Federal University), hundreds of seminars and conferences were held, unique training tools and lecture courses were brought to life, basis treaties of the EU were translated to Russian. But with time role of the centers and their activity were always changing. When the Internet made the EU documents available to practically anyone, some of the centers followed the route of consulting students on the matters of European scholarships.

On behalf of the EU Information Center in Kazan Federal University participating in the meeting was the coordinator of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence in European Studies Voices+, assistant professor of the Department of International and European Law, Director of Research and Educational Center of human rights, international law and issues of integration R.Sh. Davletgildeev. He presented information about the activity of the EU Information Center in KFU, and also the work of Voices and Voices+ Centers.
