Elabuga-Baku. Prospects of cooperation

Scientists of Elabuga Institute of KFU participated in the International Conference in Baku (Azerbaijan)

The event was held at Caucasus University. The conference was organized by Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Science Foundation (ECOSF) in collaboration and with the technical sponsorship of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - IEEE (USA).

The main purpose of the forum, which was set by the organizers, is to provide a platform for presentation and discussion of the results of scientific research and experiments, to share experiences and discuss innovative ideas in the field of information technology and their applications among researchers, scientists, experts and University students.

The Conference AICT 2016 was held in several thematic sections: data retrieval and information engineering, the problems of cyber security, the latest tendencies in the Information and Communication Technology applications etc.

Group of scientists of Elabuga Institute of KFU, headed by PhD, Associate Professor, Director of Elabuga Institute of KFU Elena Merzon participated in the International Forum.

She made a report entitled "Architecture of the Courses SMART of Training at the Higher School" in the section "ICT in Research, Education, Humanitarian and Social Sciences".

Relevance of the subject, according to the reporter, is caused by new requirements for the development education system in the information and technologically developing society. Kazan Federal University, adhering to global tendencies of development of science and education, makes a significant contribution to the development of the most progressive forms and methods of training. These include innovative educational technologies, e-learning.

Developers of the courses SMART of training within the projects CAE "Teacher of 21 Centuries" see them as one of the perspective directions of development of education as such form of education allows to adapt quickly process of training to individual needs of students and at the same time use of the maximum variety of sources and multimedia is possible.

The concept of SMART of education consists of creating a flexible interactive educational environment, which involves access to various resources, various media and the ability to adapt quickly and easily to the level and needs of the student.

A key figure in this education is a SMART-student who expects multi-format, flexible and individualized studying in an interactive environment and easy access (anytime and anywhere) to educational content.

One of the main purposes of visit for professionals of our Institute was to exchange experiences in this direction with representatives of leading foreign universities, search for prospective partners in the direction of modernization of education in the framework of the CAE "Teacher of the 21st century".

Scientists of Elabuga Institute: Associate Professor Rinat Ibatullin and assistant of the Department of Mathematics and Applied Informatics Ellina Anisimova presented the results of research on the theme "Building individual educational trajectory of students on the basis of distance learning".

By the results of the conference was published indexed by the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature SCOPUS the collection.

Within the forum a number of business meetings of the delegation of Elabuga Institute of KFU with the heads of foreign educational institutions of higher and secondary education (Rector of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Shafar Shafarov, Rector of the Institute of Educational Problems in Baku Emin Armulaev, Director of Classical gymnasium with Russian language No.160, in Baku Faina Aleklerova, representative of Rossotrudnichestvo in Azerbaijan Lubov Yakunina, etc.) took place.

During negotiations the sides discussed prospects of possible cooperation between educational institutions, in particular, the Azerbaijani colleagues were interested in a possibility of passing of professional development course for primary school teachers and Russian language on the basis of the Elabuga Institute of KFU, also participation in one of the largest International Forums - the annual Festival of School Teachers. Many questions sounded by the Azerbaijani specialists in occasion of such projects of Elabuga Institute as RuStart, Intelleto etc.
