ЕU VOICES Center sums up the 'Fairyland of the European Union' competition

The participants and winners of "Fairyland of the European Union" competition were awarded on January, 20 at KFU University for Children. Let us remind that EU VOICES Center organized special classes for children "Tell Me about Europe" in November, 2012.  The children learned what the European Union is, what its member states the flag and the anthem are. They participated in a cheerful quiz and studied a song in Spanish. The contest brought about thirty works: great pictures, craftworks. Among them were toys representing Eurik and a huge pancake made of fur as in the "The King of pancakes" tale. Surprisingly, the fairy tales our parents loved also serve as a source of inspiration to the youngest generation. The competition showed that the children’s favorite European fairy tales are "Ole Lukøje", "Thumbelina", "Pot of Porridge", "Cinderella", "Pippi Longstocking."

The winners are: Abdreev Ravil and Abdreev Ramil, Ignatyev Daniil, Morenko Nastya, Saitov Timur, Seredina Evgeniya, Emmer Darya. The wall clock made by the Abdreev brothers is considered to be the most distinctive work.

The participants and winners received prizes with the EU symbols from the European Union in Russia and EU VOICES Center.

The work of participants can be found here.
