During the signing Rector Ilshat Gafurov received a Silver Medal of Cooperation from the Ministry.

Head of the Tatarstan Regional Administration of the Ministry of Justice of Russia Viktor Demidov arrived at KFU on May 30th to sign the document. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law, and the Ministry as a whole has been in active collaboration with the University on many occasions for the last ten years. This time he brought a medal from the Federal Ministry to acknowledge Rector Gafurov’s achievements in this cooperation, in particular for the latest Derzhavin’s Readings conference that was hosted by the University in 2015. The organizational effort was such a success that the Readings will now be permanently based here.

In his speech Mr. Demidov mentioned legal grants and contests founded by the Government of Tatarstan. For example, this 15th of March the Republican Cabinet of Ministers invited bids for the independent anti-corruption evaluation of the provincial regulations; the sum is 400 thousand rubles. The guest opined that KFU’s employees should definitely participate in the bidding because their chances, considering their professionalism and expertise, are undoubtedly very high.
