Athletes of Yelabuga institute of the KFU have brilliantly participated at competitions as members of Russian national team

From April 26 to April 30 in the city of Salavat (Bashkiria) there has passed the Russian Cup competition on powerlifting (bench press). About 150 athletes from 25 regions of Russia have participated in competitions. Athletes of our institute – Anna Filimonova and Roman Sayfutdinov acted as members of Russian national team. Students of Yelabuga institute of the KFU have fascinated the audience and judges, having shown remarkable sports bearing and excellent results: according to the results of competitions Filimonova Anna has taken the 1st place (in weight category under 52 kg), Sayfutdinov Roman – the 1st place (in weight category under 59 kg). The women's national team of the Republic of Tatarstan became the winner of competitions.

According to the results of these competitions Russian national team for participation in the European and the world championships will be created. Both of our athletes are candidates for the national team.
